DECLARATION AND UNDERTAKING OF THE GENERAL MANAGER IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD


Protection of the environment and of man is our unit goal of major importance that can be followed only through a common conception and unified effort - employees, partners, customers.

The company`s management imposed the highest standard of quality for SC ELDOMIR SRL and implemented an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001: 2005, acting for its continuous improvement and obtaining certification.

The field in which the management system applies consists of sales activities and distribution of petroleum products and derivative products – minerals; transport of dangerous goods; cultivation of cereals, corn and other crops, storage and services in agriculture.

Our goal is to continuously improve environmental protection and to prevent its pollution.

To achieve and maintain our goal, the Company`s Managing Director has established the following directions:

PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Training and motivation of the personnel so that each employee realizes that "whatever your position is, you have a supplier and a customer", as well as participation in achieving environmental management program by applying operational control measures – communication and information at all levels.

PREVENTION IN PLACE OF REACTION
To identify risk factors and plan appropriate preventive measures to avoid environmental effects due to accidental pollution.

EFFICIENT USE OF RESOURCES
Application of the 4 R principle: Reduce, Reuse, Recycling and Recovery regarding resulted waste and selective sorting of them before elimination.

STRENGTHENING THE BRAND IMAGE OF THE COMPANY BY MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACCORDING WITH CURRENT STANDARDS

To accomplish this, we established the following objectives:
- A continuing process of educating organization staff and staff working on behalf of the organization with the purpose of obtaining environmental performance;

- Organizing a transparent internal and external communication system to inform all staff of the company and the consumer public, of the environmental aspects, performances obtained, the treatment ways and resolution of observations and complaints;

- Preventing pollution and resource consumption predominantly, by applying recovery and recycling methods versus disposal in the natural environment;

- Improving the current management of waste generated from our operations and compliance with the limits for pollutants released into the air and wastewater;

- Reducing consumption of water and energy by reducing/ eliminating undue losses;

- Providing free public access to environmental information through the organization`s website;

- Environmental management system certification according to SR EN ISO 14001/2005;

I assume, together with my employees and partners, responsibility for establishing, implementing and maintaining environmental management, reason why, I`m requiring that all personnel within the company ELDOMIR Impex acquire and actively assume the tasks incumbent in this sense.
